At SG Kids, we love being able to partner with families in helping children grow to know Jesus and to live like Jesus! It is our goal to serve each child as effectively as possible by teaching them according to their unique ages and abilities from birth through fifth grade. We strive to help them grasp HOPE in a God that loves us and wants a relationship with us, FAITH in believing that our sins can be forgiven and that we have abundant and everlasting life, and LOVE for God and for others. SG Kids is a safe, fun place for your child to grow strong in Jesus, and we would love to have you join us for the journey.
Your children’s safety is as important to us as it is to you, and SG Kids has taken many precautions to assure your child’s saftey so you don’t have to worry while they are having fun worshipping and learning with other children.
When you come to join us for Sunday morning worship, SG Kids would love to have your children participate with us in the nursery or in Bible Adventure. Our nursery is located just outside of the sanctuary doors and is for children up to three years old who have not yet been potty-trained. For children three years old through fifth grade, we have separate check-in spot in the building across from the sanctuary — just look for the signs!
Our nursery is set up with one room for toddlers and one room for infants, but all children will be checked in at the nursery entrance counter. At check-in, we will also request a cell phone number from you that we will use to contact you if your child needs you during the morning service. Please make sure that you label any specific items that you bring for your child, and feel free to fill out the registration form ahead of time. In the building across from the sanctuary, you will check-in any children from preschool through fifth grade for Bible Adventure anytime after 9:45 a.m. In Bible Adventure, your children will enjoy active worship and learning. We begin each Sunday morning with large group singing and Scripture. Then the students break out into age-level groups for discussion, games, crafts, and snacks that help them internalize what they learned in the large group time. Don’t forget to pick up a take-home sheet when you check your child out at the end of the day. This will help you connect at home with your child as you discuss what they learned that morning in Bible Adventure!
