From Last Sunday…
What do you do when life suddenly stops making sense?
When a situation unravels, most of us immediately try to explain it. We replay decisions, assign blame, or assume we must have done something wrong. Under pressure, our vision narrows — and the harder we try to make sense of things, the more confusing everything can become.
But what if the real problem in those moments isn’t just what’s happening around us?
What if stress, disappointment, and fear quietly distort the way we see our circumstances, our choices, and even the possibilities still in front of us? In this message, we explore how clarity begins to return when our perspective shifts. When that happens, confusion starts to give way to understanding, blame loosens its grip, and the path forward becomes easier to recognize — even in the middle of difficulty.
If you’re navigating a season where life feels uncertain, overwhelming, or impossible to interpret, this conversation offers a way to regain the kind of clarity that brings calm, direction, and hope when you need it most.

GROUNDWORK Episode Now Playing
Most of us assume tomorrow will look a lot like today. We make plans, stay busy, and keep moving forward. But sometimes life interrupts that rhythm, and suddenly the questions that matter most rise to the surface.
In this episode of Groundwork, Mike Collins shares a powerful real-life story about a moment when life suddenly became fragile. What surfaced in that crisis wasn’t complicated theology or a lifetime of knowledge—it was a simple truth learned long ago, one strong enough to carry David Howell through fear and uncertainty.
Whether the pressure comes through illness, grief, relational pain, or anxiety, this conversation explores why the most enduring strength of Christian faith is often found in simple truths that take root in the heart and hold us when life feels fragile.

Seder Presentation
Join us for a special evening as we step into the story of the first Passover. On the very night Passover begins this year, we’ll gather for a guided Seder experience that remembers what the people of Israel lived through on that historic night of deliverance.
A Seder isn’t just something to hear about—it’s something to experience. Through symbolic foods, readings, and shared reflection, the story of Exodus unfolds in a way that helps you feel its meaning. What might otherwise seem like distant history begins to connect with the deeper themes of freedom, rescue, and God’s faithfulness that run through the whole Bible.
Whether you’re familiar with the Passover story or hearing it with fresh ears, this evening offers a meaningful way to see Scripture come alive.
Date: April 1
Time: 6:30–8:00 PM

Easter for the Little Ones
Easter is a joyful time for families, and this year we’re planning a fun and meaningful experience for our kids during the Sunday morning service.
Instead of holding the egg hunt outside after the service as we’ve done in the past, children will enjoy a special Easter egg hunt during the kids’ time in the worship hour. The fellowship hall will be filled with hidden eggs, giving kids a chance to laugh, explore, and celebrate together in a safe and exciting setting.
To help make it happen, we’re asking for donations of pre-filled Easter eggs by April 1. Your donations will help create a fun surprise for our children and make the event memorable for them.
Our goal is more than just a fun activity. We want to create an atmosphere where kids experience both joy and spiritual meaning—a place where celebration, friendship, and the story of Easter come together in a way they can feel and remember.

It's Coffee Time!
Our Sunday sermons are designed to be the first words in a conversation, not the last. The discussion continues every Wednesday morning at Coffee Klatch on the NE corner of Foothill and Vineyard in Rancho Cucamonga. Join Pastor Mike and a group of eager Solid Grounders as we dig deeper into what God’s Word has to say to us.
We practice the way of Jesus and we want you to be part of the journey.
Following Jesus is about more than attending weekend services. It’s about living life to the full, connected to Jesus and to one another. It’s about having a community of people to rally around us when we need it and a willingness to do the same for them. Navigate around our site to explore the variety of ways you can serve and be served as part of our faith family.
