COMING UP THIS SUNDAY
A crash diet, a gym membership, a self-help course, a few well-chosen podcasts… all the popular strategies for fixing up your life have one thing in common: they don’t work. Why? They often skip the crucial first step. This week, Pastor Mike will explain why real change only happens from the inside out as he reveals the missing ingredient that makes genuine transformation possible. So many well-meaning believers live like mannequins–all dressed up on the outside but hollow on the inside. But it doesn’t have to be that way. Come and explore how to break free from the facade and step into a future filled with genuine growth and fulfillment.

CHECK OUT LAST WEEK’S LIVESTREAM
When your hopes turn to hurts and your dreams into disappointments, it can feel like everything around you is dry, dusty and dead. What happened to those green pastures and quiet waters God promised us? Well, Pastor Mike says that the Lord often raises them straight out of the most dry, lifeless places in our lives. Join us this week as he explains how the same life-giving power that brought Jesus back out of the tomb can give new life to the parts of your heart and mind that feel as desolate as sun-bleached bones in the desert. You’ll discover that God doesn’t just renovate broken lives; He resurrects them.
UPCOMING EVENTS AND ANNOUNCEMENTS
IT’S COFFEE TIME – Our Sunday sermons are designed to be the first words in a conversation, not the last. The discussion continues every Wednesday morning at Coffee Klatch on the NE corner of Foothill and Vineyard in Rancho Cucamonga. Join Pastor Mike and a group of eager Solid Grounders as we dig deeper into what God’s Word has to say to us.
SHARE YOUR INSIGHT - Solid Ground has been invited to be part of the Thriving Congregations Initiative, nationwide program design to help churches identify their strengths, overcome challenges, bolster their effectiveness and connect with their communities. It starts with the “PEAK” survey, an important step in preparing our church for the advancement of the Kingdom. No personal information is requested or stored, and any attendee 17 and older can participate. Scan the QR code above or CLICK HERE to go directly to the survey.
PRAYER SHAWLS have long been a traditional part of Jewish clothing, full of rich symbolism. These days, they’ve taken on a fresh look, but much of the meaning remains. Obviously, wearing a shawl won’t magically give you VIP access to God or make your prayers more powerful or effective. But it can feel like a cozy hug from above, reminding you that God’s got your back, wrapping you in His love and care. Solid Ground Women, if you love to knit or crochet, we’d love for you to join us in creating beautiful shawls to be sent as gifts to those dealing with illness, grief, loneliness, isolation, or any special need. Your handiwork, paired with your prayers, can provide comfort and warmth both physically and spiritually. Want to get involved? Chat with Jackie Butler in the Welcome Center after church.
