You can inherit money. You can inherit property. But you can’t inherit faith.
There’s great value in setting a strong Christian example for our kids, but ultimately, there’s no such thing as hand-me-down discipleship. This week, Pastor Mike will examine the age-old spiritual phenomenon of "generational degeneration" as he reveals why second- or third-generation believers are likely to fall away if they fail to “choose the right chair.” Don’t miss this fascinating look at the importance of making a personal decision to follow Jesus, no matter whose spiritual footsteps we try to follow.

Discover how to live peacefully, purposefully, and publicly in a world that rejects our values.
Christians are called to live in foreign territory without becoming part of it. It’s called the “exile life” and let’s face it – it’s uncomfortable. Some deal with that discomfort by fighting against the culture or withdrawing from it completely. Others give up and try to go along to get along. But, in this message, Pastor Mike explores a third option – one that requires deep conviction, quiet strength, and radical love. Whether you feel like a misfit in the workplace, overwhelmed by culture, or just hungry for a faith that’s bold and grounded, this message is for you.
IT’S COFFEE TIME – Our Sunday sermons are designed to be the first words in a conversation, not the last. The discussion continues every Wednesday morning at Coffee Klatch on the NE corner of Foothill and Vineyard in Rancho Cucamonga. Join Pastor Mike and a group of eager Solid Grounders as we dig deeper into what God’s Word has to say to us.
PRAYER SHAWLS have long been a traditional part of Jewish clothing, full of rich symbolism. These days, they’ve taken on a fresh look, but much of the meaning remains. Obviously, wearing a shawl won’t magically give you VIP access to God or make your prayers more powerful or effective. But it can feel like a cozy hug from above, reminding you that God’s got your back, wrapping you in His love and care. Solid Ground Women, if you love to knit or crochet, we’d love for you to join us in creating beautiful shawls to be sent as gifts to those dealing with illness, grief, loneliness, isolation, or any special need. Your handiwork, paired with your prayers, can provide comfort and warmth both physically and spiritually. Want to get involved? Chat with Jackie Butler in the Welcome Center after church.
