Read Scripture in Community in 2025. This plan takes us on a journey through the entire Bible over the course of one year. Each book includes videos specifically designed to enhance your understanding and engagement with Scripture. Miss a day? That is no problem. Hop back in with the rest of us. We want this journey to help you experience the love and grace of Jesus, not bog you down with one more thing on your to-do list. We’ll start together on January 1st. Let us know if you need help downloading the app, or subscribing to the plan.
You can always find our featured Bible reading here at SGBIC.com or here in the Bible App.

Join congregations across the Brethren in Christ U.S. as we pray, reflect, and seek God during the start of a new year. January 5-12, 2025
Missional Characteristics: Examples in Scripture The Great Commission – given by Jesus at his ascension – calls all disciples to be ambassadors of the Kingdom in their cities, regions, and the whole world. No follower of Jesus is excluded, including us.
Inspired by Priority Three of Project 250, this year’s theme, Missional Characteristics: Examples in Scripture, asks “if we are to multiply missional congregations, movements, and leaders, what scriptural characteristics should we embrace?”
Through the course of the week, each devotional will examine a woman or man from the Bible and identify a key missional characteristic seen in their life. While this is only a sampling of common characteristics found in missional people, we can learn from their examples.
