A summer of simple, faithful outreach.
This summer, we’re asking God to put one person on each of our hearts–someone we can notice, care for, pray for, and invite with love.
The rhythm: Notice. Care. Pray. Invite.
-

Ask God to help you see the people He has already placed around you. Sometimes outreach begins by slowing down enough to notice someone’s name, story, need, burden, or openness.
-

Look for simple, genuine ways to show love. That might mean listening longer, checking in, offering help, sharing a meal, remembering what they told you, or being present when life gets hard.
-

Pray for your one by name. Pray for their life, their needs, their openness to Jesus, and your own courage, wisdom, and compassion.
-

When the moment seems right, invite them to take a next step. That could be a conversation, coffee, a Sunday service, a summer event, or a simple opportunity to learn more about Jesus.
Start with one person.
You don’t have to reach everyone.
You don’t have to have all the answers.
You don’t have to force a conversation or make something happen.
Just start with one person.
That person might be a neighbor, coworker, friend, family member, classmate, or someone you regularly cross paths with. They may be far from God, quietly curious, spiritually wounded, lonely, overwhelmed, or simply in need of someone who sees them and cares.
This summer, we’re asking God to help us live with our eyes open.
Feeling unsure? That’s normal.
You don’t need perfect words or a long list of answers.
Most of us feel intimidated when we think about sharing our faith. But this summer isn’t about pressure, performance, or forcing conversations. It’s about learning to pay attention, love people well, pray with purpose, and take one faithful step when God opens the door.
Start simply: ask God to put one person on your heart.
Need help explaining the good news?
Sometimes the hardest part isn’t caring about someone. It’s knowing what to say when the conversation turns toward faith.
We’ve written out a simple explanation of the good news of Jesus, step by step, so you don’t have to memorize everything or figure it out on the spot.
If someone is curious about faith, wants to know what it means to follow Jesus, or asks how to begin a relationship with God, this page can help.
One person. One prayer. One faithful step.
Let’s trust God together this summer to reach one more for Jesus.
